Diploma in Computing and Electronics – University of Peradeniya

The CDCE of the University of Peradeniya has announced the commencement of applications for its Diploma in Computing and Electronics program. The new batch is set to begin on May 31, 2025, with applications closing on March 31, 2025.

Program Overview

This one-year diploma equips students with cutting-edge skills in computing and electronics, opening doors to careers in IT support, computer programming, cybersecurity, network administration, software testing, and embedded systems development.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
G.C.E. (A/L) pass in Science or Technology stream
Completion of NVQF Level 4
Foundation course equivalent to SLQF Level 2 with 12 years of schooling (aptitude test required)
Four years of work experience in computing and electronics (aptitude test required)
Other qualifications accepted by the Board of Study in Science, CDCE
