The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA), operating under the Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Co-operative Development, has called for applications from qualified candidates to fill several vacancies at its Head Office in Colombo.
According to the official announcement, vacancies are available for both senior-level and management-level positions including:

- Costing Officer
- Documentation Officer
- Management Assistant
The recruitment drive offers permanent government sector employment with EPF/ETF benefits and salary scales based on the 2025 public administration salary revisions. Senior-level positions under JM 1-1 category offer a starting salary of approximately Rs. 65,633, while MA 5-2 category positions offer around Rs. 56,899. Management Assistant positions offer a starting salary of Rs. 43,312.
Applicants are required to possess relevant academic qualifications recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), while some posts also accept professional qualifications such as CIMA, ICASL, ACCA, or CMA. The age limit for external applicants generally ranges from 18 to 45 years depending on the post.
