Entry Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for entry into the 3rd year of this degree programme, applicants must fulfill all three of the following conditions:
- G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L): Passed at least three (03) subjects in a single sitting at the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka.
- Diplomas: Successfully completed both the Diploma in Library and Information Science AND the Higher Diploma in Library and Information Science offered by the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kelaniya, after January 01, 2016.
- Work Experience: Possess a minimum of 01 year of verified service experience in a recognized library or a public/private information center.
Course Fee Installment Breakdown
The total course fee of Rs. 100,000/- is payable in three flexible installments as outlined below:
- 1st Installment: Rs. 40,000/- (Payable at the time of course registration).
- 2nd Installment: Rs. 30,000/- (Payable 06 months after course registration).
- 3rd Installment: Rs. 30,000/- (Payable at the time of applying for the final examination).
