Grade 12 Vocational Stream Applications Open – 28 Subject Areas Available
The Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education of Sri Lanka has officially opened applications for Grade 12 admission under the Advanced Level Vocational Stream for the academic year 2026/2027. Part of the government’s Thirteen Years Guaranteed Education Programme, this initiative provides every student an opportunity to pursue a structured, skill-based educational pathway leading to an NVQ Level 4 certification by Grade 13. Importantly, O/L exam results (pass or fail) are not considered for admission. Applications must be submitted directly to the principal of a participating school on or before 8th July 2026. A total of 28 vocational course areas are available across Sinhala, Tamil, and English mediums, covering fields such as IT, construction, health care, fashion, hospitality, and more.

(உ/த) தொழில்சார் கல்வித் துறையில் 12ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான மாணவர் சேர்க்கைக்காக இலங்கை கல்வி அமைச்சு விண்ணப்பங்களை வரவேற்கிறது. “13 ஆண்டு கல்வி உத்தரவாத திட்டத்தின்” கீழ், சா/த பரீட்சை முடிவுகள் (தேர்ச்சி/தோல்வி) கருத்தில் எடுக்கப்படாது. 13ஆம் ஆண்டு முடிவில் NVQ நிலை 4 சான்றிதழ் வழங்கப்படும். 28 பாட துறைகள் கிடைக்கின்றன. விண்ணப்பங்கள் 2026 ஜூலை 08க்கு முன் முதல்வரிடம் சமர்ப்பிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
