The University of Kelaniya has invited applications for aptitude tests for two prestigious degree programs for the 2024/2025 academic year: the Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Film and Television Studies and the Bachelor of Science Honours in Sports Science.

- Film and Television Studies:
- Eligibility: Candidates must have at least a simple pass in any three subjects at the 2024 Advanced Level Examination.
- Aptitude Test:
- Written Test: Evaluates knowledge of cinema, television, and creative writing, conducted in Sinhala medium.
- Oral Test: Only top scorers from the written test will be called to demonstrate their interest and talent in the field.
- Sports Science:
- Eligibility: A simple pass in any three Advanced Level subjects (any stream).
- Aptitude Test:
- Physical Fitness Assessment: Evaluates candidates’ physical capabilities.
- Sports Achievements Evaluation: Considers achievements at international, national, or regional levels.
Application Process:
- Fee: Rs. 1,800, payable via People’s Bank (Account No. 055-1001-40000969), CDM, or online (credit/debit cards).
- Submission: Scanned receipt must be uploaded to aptitudes.kln.ac.lk.hu.
- Deadline: Applications close on May 16, 2025.
Candidates must bring their exam admission card (emailed/SMS) and bank receipt to the test center. No postal admission cards will be issued.
