The Sri Lanka Navy has announced recruitment for Officer Cadet Vacancies, offering eligible candidates the chance to serve the nation while pursuing a recognized degree. Applications are now open, with the deadline set for May 23, 2025.
Key Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality & Age: Sri Lankan citizens, unmarried, aged 18–22 by the closing date.
- Physical Standards:
- Men: Minimum height 5’6” (5’7” for Provost), weight 52 kg, chest 32 inches.
- Women: Minimum height 5’3” (5’4” for Provost), weight 41 kg.
- Vision: 6/6 in both eyes (without correction).
- Educational Qualifications:
- G.C.E. O/L: Credit passes in Mother Tongue, Mathematics, and English (max two sittings).
- G.C.E. A/L: Branch-specific requirements:
- Executive/Engineering: Passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Combined Mathematics/Biology.
- Logistics: Passes in Accounting, Economics, or Business Studies.
- Provost: Passes in any stream.
