The Ministry of Education has officially declared the second term holiday schedule for government schools in 2025. The break will vary depending on the type of school:
- Sinhala and Tamil Schools: Holidays will run from August 8, 2025, to August 17, 2025.
- Muslim Schools: Holidays will be observed from August 20, 2025, to August 24, 2025.
