The National Institute of Education (NIE) Sri Lanka has called for public views and suggestions regarding the Subject Distribution of each educational stage and the Content Grids related to the General Education Curriculum.
According to an official announcement issued by the NIE, educators, parents, academics, education stakeholders, and members of the public are encouraged to review the proposed curriculum framework and submit their recommendations.
The initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen and modernize Sri Lanka’s general education curriculum by incorporating stakeholder feedback and ensuring that subject allocation and learning content align with contemporary educational needs. Submissions can be sent via email to info@nie.edu.lk for consideration by the curriculum development team.
