The Institute of Human Resource Advancement (IHRA), operating under the University of Colombo, has announced official intake applications for its Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology 2027 (PgDCP) starting in January 2027. Structured around the theme “Elevate Your Counseling Practice from Knowledge,” this 1-year postgraduate degree program is tailored for working graduates, practitioners, and mental health professionals seeking specialized training.

The course follows a flexible hybrid format combining online sessions with physical weekend lectures conducted two days per week (Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) in Sinhala or English.

කොළඹ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ මානව සම්පත් ප්‍රවර්ධන ආයතනය (IHRA) විසින් පවත්වනු ලබන පශ්චාත් උපාධි උපදේශන මනෝවිද්‍යා ඩිප්ලෝමා පාඨමාලාව (PgDCP) 2027 ජනවාරි කණ්ඩායම සඳහා අයදුම්පත් කැඳවා ඇත. වසර 1 ක් පුරා සතිඅන්ත දිනවල (පෙ.ව. 9:00 සිට ප.ව. 4:00 දක්වා) පැවැත්වෙන මෙම පශ්චාත් උපාධි පාඨමාලාව සෘජු හා මාර්ගගත (Hybrid) ක්‍රමවේද ඔස්සේ සිංහල හෝ ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍යයෙන් හැදෑරිය හැක.

கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் IHRA நிறுவனம் முதுகலை வழிகாட்டல் உளவியல் டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறி 2027 இற்கான விண்ணப்பங்களை கோருகிறது

கொழும்பு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் மனிதவள மேம்பாட்டு நிறுவனம் (IHRA) ஜனவரி 2027 இல் ஆரம்பமாகவுள்ள முதுகலை வழிகாட்டல் உளவியல் டிப்ளோமா பாடநெறிக்கான (PgDCP) விண்ணப்பங்களை கோரியுள்ளது. 1 வருடகால இந்த பாடநெறி வார இறுதி நாட்களில் (காலை 9:00 முதல் மாலை 4:00 வரை) ஆன்லைன் மற்றும் நேரடி விரிவுரைகளாக சிங்களம் அல்லது ஆங்கில மொழியில் நடத்தப்படும்.

• விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முடிவுத் திகதி: அக்டோபர் 10, 2026
• பாடநெறிக் கட்டணம்: LKR 150,000.00
• விண்ணப்பக் கட்டணம்: LKR 2,000.00

Entry Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must satisfy at least one (01) of the following eligibility qualifications to apply for admission:

• A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field; OR
• A Bachelor’s Degree in any field from a recognized university with at least one (01) year of relevant working experience in the field; OR
• An equivalent qualification from a recognized professional or vocational body acceptable to the Board of Study on Postgraduate Studies, the BOM of IHRA, and the Senate of the University of Colombo, accompanied by one (01) year of prior learning/work experience in a relevant field; OR
• A Higher/Executive Diploma in a relevant field offered by IHRA, University of Colombo, along with two (02) years of relevant working experience.

2. Fill out the online application form with accurate personal and professional qualifications.
3. Pay the application processing fee of Rs. 2,000.00.
4. Upload required academic/professional certificates and submit the application prior to the closing deadline on October 10, 2026.
