NITF Updates Agrahara Insurance Claim Process: Database Registration Now Mandatory
ජාතික රක්ෂණ භාරකාර අරමුදල (NITF) මගින් අග්රහාර සෞඛ්ය රක්ෂණ හිමිකම් පියවීමේ ක්රියාවලිය සඳහා නව මාර්ගෝපදේශ නිකුත් කර ඇත. ඒ අනුව 2026 අගෝස්තු 01 දින සිට සිදුවන ප්රතිකාර සඳහා යැපෙන්නන්ගේ හිමිකම් ලබා ගැනීමට ඔවුන් අග්රහාර දත්ත පද්ධතියේ ලියාපදිංචි වී ආයතන ප්රධානියා විසින් අනුමත කර තිබීම අනිවාර්ය වේ.
தேசிய காப்புறுதி நம்பிக்கை நிதியம் (NITF) அக்ரஹார சுகாதார காப்புறுதித் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நட்டஈடு கோரல்களை செலுத்துவதற்கான புதிய வழிகாட்டல்களை அறிவித்துள்ளது. 2026 ஆகஸ்ட் 01 அல்லது அதன் பின்னர் பெறப்படும் சிகிச்சைகளுக்கு, தங்கிவாழ்வோர் அக்ரஹார தரவுத்தளத்தில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு நிறுவனத் தலைவரினால் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்டிருந்தால் மட்டுமே நட்டஈடுகள் பரிசீலிக்கப்படும்.

- Mandatory Dependent Registration: Under PA Circular 12/2005(X), for treatments or events occurring on or after August 1, 2026, dependent claims will only be evaluated if the dependent is registered in the Agrahara database and approved by the head of the institution.
- Claims for Primary Insured Members: Claims for the primary insured member will proceed as usual, provided all standard requirements are satisfied, regardless of dependent registration status.
- No Repeated Document Submissions: Once members and dependents are registered and approved in the database, claim payments will be processed directly from database records without requiring repeated physical submissions of birth or marriage certificates.
- 60-Day Grace Period for Suspended Claims: For dependents whose claims have been temporarily suspended due to non-registration, public officers must complete the registration and institutional approval process within 60 days.
- Ensure that all personal and dependent details are accurately entered into the Agrahara database and approved by your Head of Institution to avoid payment delays or claim rejections.
- Suspended claims due to unverified dependent data must be regularized within the 60-day grace period.
