The Government of Sri Lanka has announced an open competitive examination for recruitment to Grade III positions in the Management Service Officer cadre. The examination, conducted by the Commissioner General of Examinations, is scheduled to take place in September 2025.
Key Details:
- Application Period: Online applications will be accepted from June 2, 2025 (9:00 AM) to June 30, 2025 (9:00 PM).
- Eligibility: Applicants must be Sri Lankan citizens aged between 18 and 30 years (born between June 30, 1995, and June 30, 2007).
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) in six subjects, including Mathematics and the language medium they choose for the exam, and the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in one sitting.
- Exam Centers: The exam will be held in designated towns listed in the Gazette. Applicants must select their preferred exam center during the online application process.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on merit and district-wise quotas proportional to population. A minimum of 3% of vacancies are reserved for persons with disabilities.
Salary and Benefits:
Selected candidates will receive a salary scale starting at Rs. 48,470, with increments up to Rs. 82,800. The positions are permanent and pensionable.
