Applications are now open for the Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (MA TESL) programme offered by the Postgraduate Institute of English (PGIE).
The MA TESL programme is recognized as the country’s pioneering TESL qualification and has been conducted for over 15 years. The programme was revised in 2020 with international expertise, integrating modern global trends in English Language Teaching, advanced pedagogical practices, and a 100-hour teaching practicum.
This programme is designed for English Language Teaching practitioners from both public and private schools, universities, and other educational institutions. It provides opportunities for graduates to advance their careers locally and internationally.
Available Exit Points
The programme offers flexible exit points to support different academic and professional needs:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language (PGDip TESL)
- Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language (MTESL)
- Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language (MA TESL)
