The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) is seeking qualified, experienced, dynamic, and career-oriented team players to fill key executive vacancies at its Head Office in Battaramulla.
Applications are open for both external and internal candidates who meet the specified criteria.
1️⃣ Post of Director (Finance) – HM 1-1 (01 Post)
- Salary Scale: Rs. 140,640 – 15 x 4,100 – 202,140 (Initial placement step: Rs. 123,019.00 per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025)
- Age Limit: Between 35 and 55 years.
Qualifications & Experience:
- External Candidates: * A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Management recognized by the UGC.
- AND A Postgraduate degree qualification (Master’s) in Finance Management recognized by the UGC OR Corporate Membership of ACA / CIMA / ACCA.
- AND Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience at a “Managerial Level” in Financial Management, Accounting, or Auditing in a recognized institution.
- Internal Candidates:
- Meeting the external candidate requirements OR completion of a minimum of five (05) years of satisfactory service in a post in the Manager Category (MM) – Grade I in a relevant subject area.
2️⃣ Post of Assistant Director (Human Resources Development) – MM 1-1 (01 Post)
- Salary Scale: Rs. 91,690 – 10 x 2,480 – 15 x 3,450 – 168,240 (Initial placement step: Rs. 81,710.00 per Management Services Circular No. 01/2025)
- Age Limit: Between 22 and 45 years.
Qualifications & Experience:
- External Candidates:
- A Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Public Management, or Supply Management recognized by the UGC.
- AND A minimum of five (05) years of post-qualifying experience at the Executive Level in Personal Management, HR Management, General Administration, or Supply Management after obtaining the first degree.
- Internal Candidates:
- Meeting the external candidate requirements OR five (05) years of satisfactory service in Human Resources Management or General Administration at the Junior Manager Level in the CEA.
🎁 Fringe Benefits & Conditions:
- Cost of Living: Rs. 17,800.00 allowance per month.
- Allowances: Vehicle allowance of Rs. 50,000/- and fuel allowance for the Director (Finance) post; group transportation facilities for the Assistant Director post.
- Professional Allowance: Rs. 25,000.00 per month.
- Telephone allowance & Medical Insurance Scheme.
- Nature of Appointment: Permanent with entitlement to EPF and ETF.
- Note: Age limits do not apply to those already in state service.
