The Ministry of Justice and National Integration has called for applications to recruit interpreters for the Labour Tribunal Secretariat under the Management Assistant Non-Technical Service category. According to the latest Gazette notification issued on 13 March 2026, a total of nine vacancies will be filled on an open recruitment basis.

- 06 posts – Interpreter (Sinhala / Tamil)
- 03 posts – Interpreter (Sinhala / English)
Selected candidates will be appointed to Grade III positions in the Labour Tribunal Secretariat.
Salary Scale
The position carries a monthly salary under Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 with a scale of:
Rs. 48,470 – Rs. 82,800
The initial salary step will be Rs. 48,470.
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Pass six subjects at the G.C.E. O/L Examination in one sitting with four credit passes, including Mathematics and two relevant languages.
- Pass three subjects at the G.C.E. A/L Examination in one sitting (excluding the General Common Test).
Age Limit
Applicants must be:
- 18 – 30 years of age at the closing date of applications.
