The Department of Sports Science, under the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), has officially invited applications for the Aptitude Test for the Bachelor of Science Honours in Sports Science & Management degree programme for the academic year 2025/2026.
This prestigious degree is designed to produce globally competent sports professionals by blending a strong academic foundation in sports science with modern management principles.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following requirement:
- G.C.E. (A/L) 2025: Obtained at least “S” grades in any three subjects. (Results after re-scrutinization are also accepted).
Aptitude Test Details
The selection process is rigorous and evaluates both physical capability and past performance:
- Test Components:
- Physical Fitness Test: A practical evaluation of the candidate’s physical attributes.
- Sports Achievements (2021–2026): Evaluation of certificates from International, National, Provincial, District, or Zonal levels.
- Test Dates: 23rd and 24th May 2026
- Location: University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises.
