BSc. Hons in Psychology – Open University of Sri Lanka

The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) invites applications for the Bachelor of Science BSc. Hons in Psychology programme for the 2025 intake.

• Application Period: 15th May 2025 to 26th July 2025
• Duration: 4 Years (Honours Degree)

Entry Qualifications:

Applicants must fulfill one of the following criteria:

a) Three (03) Pass grades in one sitting at the G.C.E. A/L Examination (any stream), OR
b) C grades or equivalent (60 credits) from the Foundation Courses in Science or Social Sciences offered by OUSL, OR
c) An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate

AND

d) A minimum of five (05) passes including English at the G.C.E. O/L Examination

AND

Pass a Computer-Based Selection Test conducted for admission, which includes:

• Part 1: 90-minute theory test (General Knowledge, Reading Comprehension, Basic Writing Skills)
• Part 2: Viva Voce (Oral Examination)

Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in both the theory test and the oral examination to qualify.
A limited number of candidates will be selected based on merit.
