The Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment of officers to Grade III of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service (SLAS), Sri Lanka Planning Service, and Sri Lanka Accountancy Service through the open competitive examinations held under the 2021 (2024) recruitment cycle.
As per the letter issued by the Secretary of the Public Service Commission (Ref: PSC/APP/10/8/17/2024 dated 18.06.2025), a total of 155 officers have been selected for SLAS Grade III. These appointments are effective from 01st July 2025, and have been made in line with the results of the examinations and interviews held on 08.02.2025, 09.02.2025, 15.02.2025, and 16.02.2025.
All newly appointed officers of the SLAS, Planning Service, and Accountancy Service are required to report for induction training scheduled to commence on 01.07.2025 at Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), No. 28/10, Malalasekara Mawatha, Colombo 07, at 8.30 a.m.
Documents Required at the Time of Reporting:
- Photocopy of the Letter of Appointment
- Copy of National Identity Card
- Bank Passbook or Certified Letter from Bank confirming the salary remittance account
- Completed Salary Payment Details Form (Annexure 2)
- Last Pay Slip (if already in public service) certified by an Accountant (including deductions, loan details, etc.). If loans exist, property loan deduction schedules must also be submitted within one week of assuming duties.
This training marks the first official step in the professional journey of these officers under three of the most prestigious public service categories in Sri Lanka.
