- Senior Lecturer (Grade I): U-AC 3 (I) – Rs. 160,520 – 7 × 3,900 – 187,820 (p.m.)
- Senior Lecturer (Grade II): U-AC 3 (II) – Rs. 138,980 – 11 × 2,940 – 171,320 (p.m.)
- Lecturer (Unconfirmed): U-AC 3 (III) – Rs. 121,340 – 5 × 2,940 – 136,040 (p.m.)
- Lecturer (Probationary): U-AC 3 (IV) – Rs. 94,400 – 10 × 2,400 – 118,400 (p.m.)
- Instructor in Computer Technology (Grade II): U-AS 2 (II) – Rs. 85,305 – 3 × 2,400 – 92,505 (EB) 94,905 – 14 × 2,400 – 128,505 (p.m.)
*Permanent academic appointees will be entitled to other allowances as per University Grants Commission (UGC) Circulars.

Statutory Benefits
- The appointee will contribute 10% of the monthly salary to the Buddhist and Pali University Provident Fund. The University will contribute 15% of the monthly salary to the Provident Fund and 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund.

- Will have to contribute to the University’s Medical Scheme.
How to Apply
Application forms and details of qualifications can be obtained from the office of the Senior Assistant Registrar (Administration) up to 10.09.2025 by calling in person or by sending a self-addressed envelope (23 × 10 cm) affixed with stamps worth Rs. 120/- to the Senior Assistant Registrar (Administration), indicating the post applied for on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. Applications can also be downloaded from the University website: www.bpu.ac.lk
Duly completed applications, along with copies of relevant certificates and proof of experience, should be sent under registered post to the “Senior Assistant Registrar (Administration), Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, No. 37, Moragahahena Road, Pitipana Town, Homagama,” on or before 17.09.2025, clearly indicating the post applied for on the top left-hand corner of the envelope. A copy of the registered post receipt should be attached to the envelope.
Applicants from Government Departments, Corporations, Statutory Boards, the UGC, or Higher Educational Institutions should forward their applications through the Head of the respective institution.
Applications that are incomplete, illegible, late, or not in compliance with the above instructions will be rejected without notice. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
