South Eastern University Calls Applications for Higher Diploma in IT – 2025/2026

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has called for applications to the Higher Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) programme offered by the Centre for External Degrees and Professional Learning (CEDPL) for the academic year 2025/2026. Applications will be accepted until 23rd August 2025.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must have:

• At least three passes in all three approved subjects in one and the same sitting at the G.C.E. (A/L) in any stream,
  or
• National Vocational Qualification (NVQ Level 4),
  or
• Any advanced certificate programme equivalent to NVQ Level 4 recognized by the Senate of SEUSL.

• Duration: 2 years (1st Year – DIT, 2nd Year – HDIT)
• Course Fee: Rs. 120,000.00
• Medium: Tamil / English
• Mode of Selection: Interview & Selection Test
• Deadline: 23.08.2025
• Minimum Intake: 60 students

Application Process:

• A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000 should be paid at any branch of People’s Bank to A/C No. 228 1001 6000 1692, using the Given Pay-In-Voucher.
• Download and submit the printed application with the payment slip to:
  Senior Assistant Registrar, Centre for External Degrees & Professional Learning, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka,
  with the title “Higher Diploma in Information Technology – 2025/2026” on the top left corner of the envelope.
• Online submission is also accepted through this Google Form
