UGC University Registrations 2025/2026 – Filling of Vacancies (Step 3)

The University Grants Commission (UGC) Sri Lanka has released official updates regarding University Registrations 2025/2026 for Filling of Vacancies (Step 3). Selected applicants can now log into the UGC admission portal to download their official Letter of Selection and proceed directly with online university registration.

All selected candidates must complete their online registration and document verification procedures on or before the strict deadline of October 07, 2026. Failure to register before this deadline will result in the forfeiture of the offered university seat.

විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ලියාපදිංචිය 2025/2026 – පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීම (3 වන පියවර)

2025/2026 අධ්‍යයන වර්ෂය සඳහා රාජ්‍ය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයන්හි පුරප්පාඩු පිරවීමේ 3 වන පියවර (Step 3) යටතේ තේරී පත්වූ සිසුන් සඳහා විශ්වවිද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාව (UGC) මගින් නිල නිවේදනය නිකුත් කර ඇත. තේරී පත්වූ සිසුන්ට තම තේරීම් ලිපිය (Letter of Selection) බාගත කර ගනිමින් මාර්ගගතව ලියාපදිංචි විය හැක.

• ලියාපදිංචි වීමේ අවසාන දිනය: 2026 ඔක්තෝබර් 07
• ලියාපදිංචි වන ආකාරය: UGC නිල වෙබ් අඩවිය හරහා මාර්ගගතව (Online)

பல்கலைக்கழக மானியங்கள் ஆணைக்குழு (UGC) 2025/2026 கல்வியாண்டிற்கான பல்கலைக்கழக பதிவுகளின் வெற்றிடங்களை நிரப்பும் படி 3 (Step 3) தொடர்பான அறிவித்தலை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. தெரிவு செய்யப்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் தமது தெரிவுக் கடிதத்தை (Letter of Selection) தரவிறக்கம் செய்து ஆன்லைனில் பதிவுகளை மேற்கொள்ள முடியும்.

• பதிவு செய்யும் முறை: UGC உத்தியோகபூர்வ இணையத்தளம் ஊடாக

Instructions to Download Selection Letter & Proceed to Registration

1. Visit the official UGC University Admission Portal at www.ugc.ac.lk.
2. Enter your G.C.E. A/L Index Number and NIC details to access your account portal.
3. Locate and click on the link labeled “Download Letter of Selection”.
4. Save and print your Letter of Selection for administrative record-keeping.
5. Click on “Proceed to Registration” to initiate the online registration workflow.
6. Pay the required registration fee online through the payment portal and save the official receipt.
7. Complete the registration before the closing deadline on October 07, 2026.
