University of the Visual and Performing Arts Announces Job Vacancies

The University of the Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA) has opened applications for several non-academic positions, including Management Assistant (Grade III), Works Aide (Grade III), and Security Guard (Grade III). The deadline for submissions is August 15, 2025.

Available Positions and Requirements

1. Management Assistant (Grade III)
   • Qualifications:
     • G.C.E. (O/L) with credits in Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.
     • G.C.E. (A/L) passes in all subjects (except Common General Paper).
     • Preference for candidates with computer qualifications and two years of experience.
   • Age Limit: 18–30 years.
   • Selection: Written test (75%) and interview (25%).
   • Salary: Rs. 49,475–58,655 per month, plus government allowances.
2. Works Aide (Grade III) & Security Guard (Grade III)
   • Qualifications: G.C.E. (O/L) with six passes (two credits) in no more than two sittings.
   • Age Limit: 18–45 years.
   • Selection: Structured interview/trade test.
   • Salary: Rs. 42,775–49,975 per month, plus allowances.
