1. Medical Officer Posts (Permanent & Hourly Locum Basis)
- Grade I: Requires valid full SLMC registration, Certificate of Good Standing, minimum 6 years of experience as Grade II MO, and a recognized Postgraduate qualification. Salary Scale MO 1-1 (Initial step Rs. 137,480.00 + allowances). Age limit: 25 – 45 years.
- Grade II: Requires valid full SLMC registration, Good Standing Certificate, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Officer. Salary Scale MO 1-1 (Initial step Rs. 111,540.00 + allowances). Age limit: 25 – 45 years.
- Preliminary Grade: Requires full SLMC registration and Certificate of Good Standing. Salary Scale MO 1-1 (Initial step Rs. 104,090.00 + allowances). Age limit: 25 – 45 years.
- Hourly Payment (Locum) Medical Officers: Remuneration will follow Management Service Circular No. 01/2025 issued by the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development.
2. Nursing & Administrative Roles
- Matron: Special Grade Nursing Officer with a 1.5-year Diploma (including Ward Management/Teaching/Public Health Nursing) + 5 years experience in a Grade I Nursing Officer post + passed 3rd Efficiency Bar Exam. Age limit: 25 – 52 years. Salary Scale MT 8 Step 04 (Rs. 87,800 – 140,300).
- Nursing Officer: B.Sc. Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma recognized by the Ministry of Health/Nursing Council. G.C.E. A/L pass in Biology, Mathematics, or Agriculture stream in one sitting + 6 O/L passes with 4 credits (Sinhala/Tamil, Science, Maths, English). Age limit: 22 – 45 years. Salary Scale MT 7 Step 01 (Rs. 55,910.00 + allowances).

- Network Administrator: Degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering OR NVQ Level 5/6/7 with 5 to 10 years relevant work experience.
- Central Sterile Supply Division (CSSD) Operator: G.C.E. O/L with 3 credit passes OR NVQ Level 2 with technical machinery training.
- Hospital Service Aid: Passed G.C.E. O/L in 6 subjects with at least 3 credit passes in not more than 2 sittings.
- Cook: NVQ Level 2 Certificate of Proficiency in relevant trade.
