The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) has opened applications for multiple academic positions in its Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Technology. The vacancies, advertised on April 7, 2025, invite suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens to apply for roles ranging from Senior Lecturer to Lecturer (Probationary) in Civil Engineering and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Available Positions
- Faculty of Engineering – Department of Civil Engineering
- Posts: Senior Lecturer (Grade I/II), Lecturer (Unconfirmed/Probationary).
- Requirements: A four-year specialized degree in Civil Engineering from a UGC-recognized university.
- Faculty of Technology – Department of ICT
- Posts: Senior Lecturer (Grade I/II), Lecturer (Unconfirmed/Probationary).
- Preferences: Candidates with honors degrees in Technology/Science/Engineering (computing fields) and expertise in Computer Networks and Security.
Remuneration and Benefits
SEUSL offers competitive salaries and benefits:
- Senior Lecturer Grade I: Approx. Rs. 360,000/month.
- Senior Lecturer Grade II: Approx. Rs. 316,000/month.
- Additional benefits include provident fund contributions (10% employee, 15% university), gratuity, and sabbatical leave eligibility for senior staff after seven years of service.
