The National Institute of Education (NIE), Sri Lanka has published the National Early Childhood Education Curriculum Framework: Suggested Activities to support the organisation of meaningful learning experiences for young children. The resource provides practical suggested activities covering children’s health and physical well-being, social and emotional development, language and early literacy, numeracy, environmental exploration and creative arts. It also includes guidance on Theme-Based Learning, STEAM, Emergent Curriculum and the Role of the Teacher. It is available in all three languages: Sinhala, Tamil and English.
