🎓 Eligibility Criteria (Open Stream)
Nationality: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
Age Limit: Not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years of age as of 25 September 2026. Eligible birth dates: born on or before 25.09.2008 and on or after 25.09.1996.
G.C.E. (O/L): Passed six (06) subjects with Credit passes in four (04) subjects in a single sitting. Credit passes must include a Language (Sinhala/Tamil/English) and Mathematics.
G.C.E. (A/L): Passed all subjects in one sitting (excluding the Common General Test and General English).
🗺️ District Allocation Basis
Recruitment is made strictly on a representative basis in proportion to district population ratios. Candidates must qualify under one of the following for a specific district:
- Born in the district, OR
- Permanent resident of the district for at least 3 continuous years within the 5 years preceding the closing date, OR
- Received secondary education in the district for 5 continuous years.
📝 Examination Structure & Syllabus
The examination consists of two written papers. Candidates may choose to sit in Sinhala, Tamil, or English.

- Fill out the application form strictly in English.
