The Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Kelaniya has officially opened applications for its Master of Arts (MA) in Christian Studies for the 2026/2027 academic year.
This one-year program, categorized under SLQF Level 09, is designed for students seeking advanced academic knowledge in Christian history, scripture, and theology.
Program Overview
The course will be conducted in Sinhala and is structured to accommodate working professionals with lectures held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the university premises.

Admission Requirements
Prospective students must meet one of the following criteria:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Christian Culture or Theology from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from the Pontifical Urbaniana University in Rome.
