The Vocational Training Authority (VTA), operating under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, has officially called for applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Instructor (Trade-wise).

These appointments fall under the Management Assistant (Technological) Service Category (MA 2-2), with a salary scale starting at Rs. 43,379 (as of 01.01.2025) and progressing to Rs. 90,270 (by 01.01.2027) along with government-approved allowances.

Key Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Between 22 and 45 years.
• Educational Qualification:
  • NVQ Level 4 or 5 with a Certificate of Proficiency in the relevant field.
  • For English Instructor: At least a diploma-level qualification or higher.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a recognized institution.
