The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has officially released the results of the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination 2025 on June 19, 2026.
According to the official statistics, a total of 451,463 candidates sat for the examination across 3,547 exam centers and 531 coordination centers. This includes 382,249 school candidates and 69,214 private candidates.
1. How to Check Individual Results Immediately
Candidates can check their individual results online through the official examination websites:
- www.doenets.lk
- www.results.exams.gov.lk
Starting from June 20, 2026, all school and private applicants can log onto https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic to view, inspect, and download an official Result Schedule by entering their National Identity Card (NIC) number.
2. Schedule for School, Zonal, and Provincial Result Downloads
The Department of Examinations has facilitated online portals for school principals and educational authorities to download institutional results starting from June 20, 2026.
For School Principals (School Results)
- Portal: https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic
- Method: Principals can log in using the unique Username and Password previously provided to them for submitting applications.
- Action: Download and print a copy of the comprehensive examination result sheet for their respective school.
For Provincial & Zonal Education Directors (Regional Results)
- Portal: https://onlineexams.gov.lk/onlineapps
- Action: Provincial and Zonal Directors of Education can log in to view, monitor, and download the collective results of all schools within their specific province or zone.
Note for School Students: Printed physical result sheets for schools will be sent to school principals after the conclusion of the re-scrutiny process.
3. Re-Scrutiny (Re-correction) Applications
Students who wish to apply for the re-scrutiny of their exam papers can do so online.
