📋 Step-by-Step Guide: How to Proceed

Step 1: Check Selection Status & Download Letter of Selection

Visit the official UGC admission portal (admission.ugc.ac.lk).
Enter your G.C.E. (A/L) Index Number to verify the course of study and university assigned to you.
Download and save your official Letter of Selection.
Note: Keep a printed copy and a digital PDF copy safe for faculty orientation and physical verification.

Step 2: Complete the Online Registration

Navigate to the UGC registration module via the direct link on the portal.
Carefully enter your credentials and upload requested verification documents.
Pay any required administrative fees as instructed by UGC guidelines.
Submit your registration confirmation before midnight on August 31, 2026.

⚠️ Important Notice for Applicants

Failure to complete the online registration before 31.08.2026 will result in the forfeiture of your offered seat. Unfilled placements will automatically be reassigned to the next eligible candidates in subsequent vacancy filling rounds.
