Department of Indigenous Social Sciences: Anthropology, Sociology, Geography
- Qualifications: BA Special/Honours Degree with First or Second Class, or BSc Honours Degree in Social Studies in Indigenous Knowledge. Preference given to PhD holders in relevant fields.
Department of Indigenous Medical Resources:
- Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Technology, QA, Regulations & Law, Drug Safety & Toxicology: Special/Honours Degree (1st/2nd Class) in BSc in Pharmacy or B.Pharm. (PhD preferred).
- Medicinal Plant Cultivation, Digital Agriculture, Smart Farming, Climate Financing & Agribusiness: Special/Honours Degree (1st/2nd Class) in BSc in Agriculture / Agricultural Technology and Management. (PhD added advantage).
- Multi-omics in Medicinal Resources (Agri Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Agronomy, Organic Farming, Crop Science, Agroecology): Special/Honours Degree (1st/2nd Class) in BSc in Agriculture / Agricultural Technology and Management. (PhD preferred).
Department of Indigenous Health Sciences:
- Yoga & Related Disciplines (Asana Practical, Therapeutic Yoga, Advanced Pranayama, Meditation, Mindfulness): 1st or 2nd Class BAMS or Yoga-related degree. Must be registered with Ayurveda Medical Council. Practical yoga/industry experience mandatory.
- Ayurveda & Medical Sciences (Anatomy & Physiology, Ayurveda Principles & Therapies, Naturopathy, Swasthavritta, Panchakarma, Ayurvedic Dietetics): 1st or 2nd Class BAMS degree, registration with Ayurveda Medical Council. (PhD preferred).
- Tourism & Hospitality (Tourism/Hospitality Management, Health Tourism, Health Service Management, Health Economics, Health Care Management): 1st or 2nd Class Degree in BBM/BBA/BSc in Tourism, Hospitality, or Events Management. (PhD added advantage).
- Academic allowances, Cost-of-Living Allowance (COLA), and other approved government allowances.
- University Provident Fund (UPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF) contributions.
- Gratuity according to the Payment of Gratuity Act No. 12 of 1983.
- Sabbatical leave benefits for eligible Senior Lecturers Grade II and above.
- Full air passage benefits for eligible candidates during approved sabbatical leave abroad.
