EB Exam for MSO G 1 & G II

The Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has announced the Efficiency Bar Examinations for officers in Grade I and Grade II of the Management Service Officers’ Service. These examinations, crucial for career progression, are scheduled to be held at the district level in April 2025.

The examinations, overseen by the Director General of the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA), are conducted in accordance with the service minute published in the Gazette Extra Ordinary No. 1840/34 dated 11.12.2013.

Key Details:

• Examination Codes: MSO-I for Grade I officers and MSO-II for Grade II officers.
• Application Process: Applications must be submitted online through the official SLIDA website (www.slida.lk) between 8:00 a.m. on February 21, 2025, and midnight on March 14, 2025.
• Language: The online application must be completed in English.
• Fees: First-time applicants are exempt from examination fees. Subsequent attempts require a fee of Rs. 250 per subject.
• Payment: Fees are to be credited to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government account at People’s Bank, Bambalapitiya Branch (Account Number: 310100119027430). A receipt of the payment must be uploaded with the application.
