The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka has announced a special entry opportunity for diploma holders in agriculture to enroll in its BSc. (Agriculture) Honors Degree Program for the 2023/2024 academic year.

- Program: B.Sc. (Agriculture) Honors Degree
- Intake: Five (05) eligible candidates

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be permanent employees in government agriculture or plantation sectors and meet the following requirements:
- Diploma Qualification:
- A two-year Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized institution (e.g., Department of Agriculture, SLIATE, TTI Katunayake, or NIPM Athurugiriya).
- Academic Qualifications:
- G.C.E. (O/L): Six passes (including Science & Mathematics) with four credits in one sitting.
- G.C.E. (A/L): Passes in three relevant subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Agriculture) under old/new syllabus with a Z-score > 0.
- Work Experience:
- Five years of experience in agriculture/plantation sectors after obtaining the diploma.
- Age Limit:
- Must be below 40 years by the application closing date.
