The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, has released the names of the students who achieved the highest ranks in the island for each stream in the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination. The results, announced online on March 26, 2025, via www.doenets.lk, have highlighted exceptional performances across the Mathematics, Biological Science, and Commerce streams.
Island’s Top Rank Holders:
- Mathematics Stream: Lesandu Ransara Kumarage from Bandaranayake College, Gampaha, secured the first rank, demonstrating outstanding academic excellence in the highly competitive stream.
- Biological Science Stream: Sandithi Nimhari Hegodaarachchi of Maliyadeva Girls’ College, Kurunegala, claimed the top position, earning accolades for her remarkable performance.
- Commerce Stream: Amasha Dulari Perera from Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo, achieved the best results in the island, showcasing her prowess in the Commerce stream
