The University of the Visual and Performing Arts (UVPA) has announced the opening of applications for the aptitude test required for admission to its degree programs for the academic year 2024/2025. Eligible candidates who have completed the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination in 2024 can apply from May 16 to May 30, 2025.
The aptitude test is mandatory for admission to the Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours and Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music/Dance and Drama) Honours programs. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements specified in the University Grants Commission’s Admissions Handbook, including at least two Ordinary Passes (S) in any two subjects and a Credit Pass (C) in the subject they intend to pursue (e.g., Music, Dance, Drama & Theatre, Art & Sculpture).

- Test Fee: Rs. 2,000 per course, payable at any Bank of Ceylon branch (Account No: 84072227). CDM payments are not accepted.
- Required Documents: Bank receipt, National Identity Card, recent passport-sized photo (blue background), and G.C.E. A/L 2024 result sheet.
