The Centre for Distance and Continuing Education (CDCE) at the University of Peradeniya has announced openings for part-time Tutor Mentors for its BBA (External) Degree Programme. The positions are available for the following courses: Business Communication, Business Environment, IT for Management, and Auditing and Taxation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must hold a BBA, B.Sc. (Management), or Bachelor of Commerce degree with a First Class or Second Class Upper Division. Additionally, strong English communication skills and computer proficiency are essential. Professional qualifications such as ICASL, CIMA, CIM, or ICA/LLB will be considered an advantage. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and familiarity with Moodle software.

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected Tutor Mentors will work under Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to facilitate academic delivery via the Moodle platform. Their duties will include engaging in student-teacher interactions, monitoring learning progress, and providing timely feedback to learners.
Remuneration
The position offers a monthly allowance, including a fixed offline allowance of Rs. 5,000 and an online allowance of Rs. 750 per hour for a maximum of 20 hours.
