Colombo, Sri Lanka – The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) has announced a recruitment drive to fill vacancies for the post of Translator (External). Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline on March 5, 2025.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves translating reports, letters, and documents between English, Sinhala to Tamil, as well as coordinating outsourced translation tasks and proofreading documents.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with Sinhala, Tamil, or English as a subject. Additionally, they must have at least three years of post-qualification experience as a sworn translator.
Recruitment Process & Salary
Selection will be based on a written examination, a structured interview, and a practical test. The salary scale for the position ranges from Rs. 70,380 to Rs. 140,760 under the TRC 4.1 category
