The North Central Provincial Public Service has announced an Open Competitive Examination for the recruitment of officers to the Grade II Tax Officer post within the Provincial Revenue Service. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 11 vacancies.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates residing in the province. The competitive examination is scheduled to be held in Anuradhapura city during November 2025.
Eligibility and Deadlines
The deadline for receiving applications is October 25, 2025. Candidates must meet specific educational and residency requirements as of the closing date of applications.
Key Qualifications:
- Educational: Applicants must possess a Degree obtained from a university or a degree-awarding institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- Residency: The applicant must be a citizen of Sri Lanka and must have had continuous, permanent residency within the North Central Provincial Council area for a period of not less than three years immediately prior to the closing date of applications.
- Age Limit: The applicant’s age, as of the closing date, must be not less than 18 years and not more than 30 years. The maximum age limit is 35 years for officers already holding a confirmed, permanent post in the North Central Provincial Public Service.
