Educational Qualification: A degree awarded by a foreign or state university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC); a university established by an Act of Parliament in Sri Lanka; or a degree recognized under Section 25A of the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978. The degree must meet the recognition requirements specified in the official recruitment conditions.
Government Service Experience: Completion of the required period of active and satisfactory service in the specified permanent and pensionable government service position — either at least 5 years of service under the specified salary codes, or at least 10 years of active and satisfactory service under the specified conditions.
