The Department of Export Agriculture has officially announced the Limited Competitive Examination for Recruitment to several key positions within the Sri Lanka Technological Service (Class III) for the year 2026.

1. Available Vacancies
Recruitments are being made for the following positions based on the 2026 limited examination:

2. Salary Scale
According to the Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 (MN-3 2025), the salary scale is:
- Monthly Scale: Rs. 52,250 – 10 x 800 – 11 x 1,190 – 10 x 1,320 – 10 x 1,350 – 100,040.
3. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- Must have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) examination in 06 subjects with credit passes for:
- Sinhala/Tamil/English Language
- Mathematics
- Science
- One other subject, in no more than two sittings.
Professional Qualifications (Must meet one of the following):
- I. Two-year Agricultural Diploma from a recognized School of Agriculture (Department of Agriculture).
- II. Two-year Diploma from the Department of Export Agriculture.
- III. Completion of NVQ Level 06 in a relevant field.
- IV. Completion of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant technological field from a recognized university or institute.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 05 years of permanent and active service in a relevant field within the Department of Export Agriculture.
4. Examination Details
The selection will be based on a written competitive examination consisting of the following subjects:
