A Bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration, with a minimum of 90 SLQF credits (SLQF Level 5 or above) from a recognized university;
OR
An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate of the Open University of Sri Lanka.

2. Professional Requirement

Applicants must be employed in the field of education, such as:

A teacher or principal of a recognized school
An in-service advisor
A teacher educator
An officer in SLEAS or the Sri Lanka Education Administrative Service
A full-time member of the academic staff of a university, National College of Education, Technical College, Teacher Training College
A lecturer or professional affiliated with the National Institute of Education or similar educational institutions.

3. Employment Condition

All entry requirements must be fulfilled at the time of applying.
