The Parliament of Sri Lanka has announced a vacancy for the post of Web Editor (English/Sinhala) under the staff of the Secretary-General of Parliament. Applications are now open for suitably qualified Sri Lankan citizens of sound physical condition and excellent moral character.
According to the announcement, applications prepared in line with the given specimen must be submitted by registered post to the Secretary-General of Parliament, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte on or before 21st September 2025. The envelope should clearly state the post applied for.

- Salary Scale: Rs. 74,810 – 97,070 (initial gross monthly remuneration with allowances approx. Rs. 114,715/-)
- Age Limit: 22 to 35 years (not applicable to internal candidates)
- Educational Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science/IT/Information Systems from a UGC-recognized university.
- G.C.E. (O/L) with six subjects including credits in Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and English (within two sittings).
- Vocational Qualifications:
- Certification in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, PHP.
- Knowledge of DBMS (MySQL/MSSQL) and Web Servers (Apache, IIS) considered an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in Web Editing or Development.
