NSBM Academic Vacancies 2025

The National School of Business Management (NSBM Green University), recognized as the Premier Degree Awarding Institute in Sri Lanka, has launched a significant recruitment drive for academic staff as it seeks to expand its “World-Class Team.”

Vacancies Across Four Major Areas

NSBM is looking to strengthen its staff in the Faculties of Business, Computing, Science, and the Department of Design Studies.

Faculty of Engineering	Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunication, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Computer, Civil Engineering, and Physics.
Faculty of Science	Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, and Psychology.
Department of Design Studies	Building Science, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Interior Lighting, Building Physics, Building Economics, and Building Services.

Positions and Qualifications

The university is recruiting for a range of positions, from entry-level to senior roles:

PROFESSOR: Requires an earned Doctorate and a Master’s Degree, a proven record of at least fifteen or more years of teaching/research, and a strong publications track record.
SENIOR LECTURER: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, and five years of teaching experience, preferably with an earned Doctorate.
LECTURER: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree with a First Class in a relevant field.
TEMPORARY LECTURER / TEACHING ASSISTANT/DEMONSTRATOR: For fresh graduates who hold a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a First Class or Second Upper, often with an opportunity for continuous professional development.

Candidates are expected to possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, including public speaking. The advertisement stresses the need for individuals who are able to work independently and thrive in a high-performing work environment.
