NCoE Teachers Placement Application 2020/2022- Ministry of Education

The Ministry of Education has officially announced the commencement of the NCoE Teachers Placement Application. The online application process for recruiting National Teaching Diploma holders from 2020/2022 into the Sri Lanka Teachers’ Service. The application window will be open from March 20, 2025, to March 28, 2025, allowing diploma holders from the National Colleges of Education (NCOE) to submit their applications electronically.

The placement process will be conducted based on the merit order provided by the National Institute of Education (NIE), with priority given to the province considered during the candidate’s enrollment at the NCOE.

NCoE Teachers Placement Application: Important Guidelines for Applicants:

1. Single Submission: Applicants are permitted to submit their completed application only once. No changes can be made after submission, so candidates are urged to thoroughly review all details before finalizing their application.
2. Access and Review: During the application period, candidates can log in to the online system using their username and password to view their submitted application.
3. Merit-Based Placement: The placement will strictly adhere to the merit order provided by the NIE. Candidates with the lowest rank in a particular subject may be placed in essential vacancies, even if it means being assigned to a different province due to insufficient vacancies in their preferred location.
4. No Influence from Request Letters: Placements will be made only for confirmed vacancies. Request letters from school principals will not be considered in the placement process.
5. Beware of Fraud: The Ministry of Education has issued a stern warning to applicants to be vigilant against fraudsters who may promise preferred placements in exchange for money. The placement process is strictly merit-based and transparent.
