The Ministry of Education has issued a warning to the public regarding a fraudulent social media post circulating about the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Science examination paper. The fake announcement, which falsely uses the names of the Ministry and the Department of Examinations, alleges that the Science paper was leaked and restructured. It further claims that all candidates will be awarded 08 additional marks and that grading thresholds will be reduced by 10 marks.
The Ministry has categorically denied these claims, stating that no such decisions have been made. Officials emphasized that all official announcements are exclusively released to registered media outlets through the Ministry’s Media Unit, bearing proper authorization and official letterheads.
The public is strongly advised to remain vigilant and avoid being misled by such false information. The Ministry urges individuals to rely only on verified sources for accurate updates regarding examinations and related matters.
