Application for Master of Education (MEd) – OUSL

Applications are invited for the Master of Education (MEd) at the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). The programme will be conducted through the university’s regional centres in Colombo, Kandy, Matara, Jaffna, and Batticaloa.

Admission Requirements: Application for Master of Education (MEd) – OUSL

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the Open University of Sri Lanka or another recognized university,
2. Hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or Postgraduate Diploma in Special Needs Education from a recognized university, or
3. Have an equivalent qualification recognized by the Senate of the Open University of Sri Lanka.

Selection and Application Process

• All applicants who meet the admission requirements will be shortlisted for a Selection Test scheduled for 11th January 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.
• Only those who pass the Selection Test will be called for an interview before final admission.
