The Institute of Technology, University of Moratuwa has officially announced the schedule for the Medical Test and Interview for applicants shortlisted for the Maritime Studies courses under the National Diploma in Technology (NDT) 2024/2025 intake.
The selection process will be held over three days, from 14th May to 16th May 2025, at the Institute of Technology premises, University of Moratuwa. Applicants who have been shortlisted are requested to attend the session on their assigned date as specified in the published shortlist.

Mandatory Online Awareness Session – 10th May 2025
An online awareness session, introducing the Maritime Studies field, will be held on Saturday, 10th May 2025 at 2.00 a.m. via Zoom. This session is compulsory for all shortlisted applicants and must be attended along with at least one parent or guardian.
- The Zoom link will be sent to the email address provided in the application.
- Please note: This session will not be repeated under any circumstances.
Important Interview Day Guidelines
- All shortlisted candidates must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If both parents are unable to attend, the guardian must carry:
- Written approval from both parents
- A consent letter (format available in the provided link) signed by both parents
