Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Grama Niladhari Service Exam 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
- Age between 21 – 35 years (varies for internal/external candidates)
- Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with at least six subjects including Sinhala/Tamil and Mathematics
- Passed G.C.E. (A/L) in one sitting (any stream)
- Permanent residence in the relevant GN Division (usually required)
GS Exam Structure
The Grama Niladhari Service Exam (Class III) usually includes the following subjects:
- General Knowledge
- Language Proficiency (Sinhala/Tamil/English)
- Intelligence Test
Each paper carries 100 marks, and candidates must obtain minimum marks in each to qualify for selection.
Salary and Benefits
