The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka, GCE Ordinary Level Examination 2024 (2025) Time Table Announced. The examination is scheduled to commence on March 17, 2025, and continue until March 26, 2025.
The examination will begin with papers on Buddhism, Saivanery, Catholicism, Christianity, and Islam on March 17, 2025. The following days will cover subjects including Sinhala Language and Literature, Tamil Language and Literature, History, English Language, Science, and Mathematics.
A range of other subjects including Information & Communication Technology, Agriculture & Food Technology, Music, Art, Business & Accounting Studies, and Geography will also be covered in the examination.
The Commissioner General of Examinations, H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara, has announced that the use of calculators and correcting fluid is strictly prohibited for any subject in this examination. Bringing any electronic device, including mobile phones, into the examination hall is also forbidden and is a punishable offense.
