The Department of Examinations has announced that the results of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) 2025 Examination, conducted in February 2026, are expected to be released before the end of this week.
Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage, stated that the marking of answer scripts has already been completed and that officials are currently engaged in the final administrative procedures required for the release of the results.
The 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination was conducted from 17 February to 26 February 2026 at 3,545 examination centers across the country.
A total of 451,463 candidates sat for the examination this year, comprising 382,249 school candidates and 69,214 private candidates.
