Colombo, Sri Lanka – The National Institute of Education (NIE) has announced the commencement of applications for its highly regarded Diploma in School Management (DSM) for the academic year 2025/2026. The program is designed to equip current and aspiring school leaders with advanced skills in educational administration and leadership.
The two-semester program will be conducted by the Department of Professional Development and Educational Management, under the Faculty of Education Leadership Development and Management. The course is open to educators in both Sinhala and Tamil mediums.
Prospective applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including:
- A minimum of four years of teaching/service experience.
- At least one year of experience in a role with administrative responsibilities.
- Current employment as a school principal, deputy principal, sectional head, or in a similar leadership position within the national school system or a semi-government school.
